I'm excited to say that I'm going to have 2 pieces displayed in a "formal show" for the first time next weekend. It is a juried show of an artist group in my area; the Sheboygan Visual Artists group (SVA). I've been "building up steam" to make a serious effort with my artwork for some time, and being involved with this group has been the catalyst for getting out there and doing it finally. Not sure if anybody from the SE Wisconsin area will read this, but here's the show details:

SVA Inaugural Membership Exhibition
April 18th
6-9 PM with live music to follow on site from 9 - 11 PM
food and drinks will be served

Over 18 local Sheboygan artists will have work on display.
